Youth Ambassadors
Our Youth Ambassadors represent LMYF at meetings with our strategic partners, policy making forums and decision-making arenas. We provide training, which teaches them the skills of lobbying and campaigning. This helps them grow in confidence, allows them to get their views across, and enables them to influence others to bring about positive change within the community.
They attend monthly meetings where they discuss plans to make sure that the LMYF is represented at upcoming events which meet the goals and aspirations of the organisation. These meetings are also where they plan and agree on the sort of events and activities they would like to put on for their peers and the wider community.
Over the years Youth Ambassadors have represented the LMYF across many diverse platforms including local partnership meetings, city-wide forums and European Union events in Strasbourg. Their creativity in planning and delivering exciting, unique events such as leadership programmes, Heritage projects, faith-led support groups and so much more which is catalogued on our Instagram page
